Aren’t you fortunate to live on the Left Coast of America? Those on the east of the Mississippi saw the UFO just miss the moon. (Must of been a failed landing attempt. lol)
You saw an occultation of the planet Venus by Earth’s moon. Good catch! No UFO involved tho.
Isn’t it great to know all the dufes above me are wrong, wrong – WRONG!

Hey Urwumpe, give the guy a break. He said 50 minutes from “touch down” to “take-off.” He is pretty close. He could have watched for 30 more minutes on each side. I did.
Isaac Asimov (an old dead science and science fiction writer) described the same thing the same way. When he was kid, he got his teacher and all his classmates to watch a daylight occultation by suggesting it was a UFO landing on the moon. He said he got the teacher to stretch recess to 2 1/2 hours so they all could watch.
Hey, it is the International Year of Astronomy this year. Lets all learn some astronomy.
I presume this happened this morning? If so, it was an occultation of the planet Venus by the Moon. Nothing landed or took off from the Moon — the Moon passed in front of the planet Venus.
Funny, the moon needs 27 days for one rotation. So your “UFO” would have had to be maximal 27.8 minutes of arc away from terminator (the border between dark and bright). That is as little as 14 km. Unless you own a VERY large telescope, you should not be able to see the difference in light on the surface of the “UFO”.
You should better pray for getting away from the drugs.
