I think it’s likely that we are not alone in the universe, but its highly unlikely that there are aliens flying around in our airspace.

Fact. I think that the fiction is the government denial of their existence but I understand the need to deny it because there could be mass hysteria if people let their imaginations get away in the event that UFO’s could be real.
A lot of this has to do with the good old-fashioned sci-fi movies where the Earth is protecting itself from alien invasion.
I believe that the universe is to large that there is a very high probability of alternate life in the universe. Some of it may be more advanced than we are. Who knows for sure?

I don’t think we are alone in the universe. It is WAY too big for Earth to be the ONLY planet able to sustain life. UFOs… I think with our technology we would get a better picture by now. I think a lot of the “UFOs” being reported may not have been UFOs. Not sure. Good question.

We cant be the only life in this universe. Or for all we know they could be from another universe entirely. I just wish that what ever it is would just come down here and speak with us. And if they are warnings we could be in serious trouble. I dont think we will know in our life times.

I believe life must exist elsewhere in the universe, simply because the universe is so vast and life is a natural phenomenon. However, most people do not appreciate how far apart the stars really are. The closest one is several light years (trillions of miles) away, and it would take thousands of years to travel from there to here, using advanced propulsion technology. The typical star visible in the sky is hundreds or thousands of light years distant. It is extremely improbable that aliens have visited Earth, and even more improbable that they would do so without making their presence known. To draw a simple analogy, when Columbus discovered the New World, he did not hide from the natives, and many other ships soon arrived from Europe, to colonize the Americas. No, I am convinced that UFOs are simply unidentified flying objects, not alien space ships.
We have not received radio signals from an extraterrestrial civilization, and radio signals travel at the speed of light, an order of magnitude faster than any space ship can travel, no matter how advanced the propulsion technology.

Your father is correct: they’re unidentified, but there’s no reason to believe that they are any sort of a warning of anything, nor are they likely to be spacecraft. We are probably not alone in the universe, but it’s so big that there’s no way for two populations to communicate. Think of it this way: light travels one light-year in a year. We’ve been doing broadcasting for, say, a hundred years. That means that our first communications signals can’t have gone farther than a hundred light years, which is just about nowhere; it’s just the local neighborhood here in our galaxy. Moreover, nobody would be able to travel faster than the speed of light to come and see us; so that makes it even less likely that we’ve been visited.
There’s always the possibility that some inter-galactic traveler could stumble upon our tiny solar system by accident, but there’s no evidence that this has ever happened. There’s also no reason that government officials would keep such an incident secret if it happened.
But remember that history is new: we haven’t been around for all that long. Eventually there will be flying saucers all over the universe, and we’ll probably be piloting them.

fact. and if i’m right, the aliens would also be friendly and diplomatic. if not, earth wouldve been invaded long ago.

UFO’s are real. It only means “unidentified flying object” Most turn out to be man-made or natural phomenmons such as weather balloons or clouds. Some turn out to be hoaxes. There is a minority of still unsolved UFO cases. Some of them could be from extraterrestial planets, but only a small percentage of them.
I believe that there are intelligent life some where in the universe. There are hundreds of exosolar planets discovered (mostly gas giants) but some terrestial planets. There are 200-300 billions stars in the galaxy and there are more galaxies in the universe than stars in the Milky Way. Some of the stars bound to have earth-like planets which a few of them could have intelligent life.
If aliens came to the Earth, they were most likely studing the planet and also humans.

the bible, (atleast i dont think) doesnt mention this, (as in the whole subject) but i believe somewhere, there are aliens, and whose to say they need water and oxygen, they could be anywhere in the universe
