I doubt the goverment would want the masses to know if aliens did exist. Who’s to say we (earth) aren’t already in contact with extraterrestrials?

There is a principle in Philosophy called “Occams Razor” which, stated simply, is that one should not needlessly multiply explanations, or to put it another way, the simplest explanation is probably the best. Or to put it yet another way, if it smells like a duck, and looks like a duck, and goes quack………. well, maybe you get the idea……….

Radio signals are probably the only way and that is a slim hope. Most people can comprehend that there are plenty of opportunities for life to evolve elsewhere in our universe(it may even be quite plentiful). What most people don’t grasp is the sheer magnitude of the distances between these other worlds. the next closest star is Sirius and travelling at the speed of light it would take 4.3 years to traverse the distance between here and there! Oyher stars are at MUCH greater distances. So I am afraid that the only contact we will ever have with an extra terrestrial race is by radio waves and even that is unlikely.

If we exist and there are a billion billion planets just like us, then why wouldn’t they exist? We’re flattering ourselves if we think only one planet out of a billion billion planets have intelligent life on them like us. Radio waves travel at the same speed as light, and take millions of years to finally arrive here on earth from a distant planet. So whether we hear them or not, they have evolved just like we did, and probably are more advanced than us in millions of galaxies.

Read the bible!! (if you are Cristian or want to be) It says that GOD only made us and us alone!

We would definitely need a lot of evidence. Even radio signals that obviously came from intelligent life might not completely confirm the existence of aliens.

    And the following is to
