One of the more common complaints about menopause that doctors often hear about are hot flashes and menopause headaches. This is thought to be caused by the changing and fluctuating hormone levels in a woman’s body as she goes from child-bearing to non-child-bearing. This causes the hormone levels in the body to change which can bring about various symptoms such as the aforementioned headaches, hot and/or cold flashes, depression, fatigue, anxiety, agitation, and other symptoms. It is important to note, however, that many women go through menopause without any of these symptoms and it is just a natural part of aging.
