Most wireless fences work to keep dogs over eight pounds in their own yard. Wireless fences are the simplest because there is no installation. It is a plug and go unit. Petsafe wireless fence reviews are extremely positive. It is an easy system to maintain. Owners of this system like that it is travel ready. It takes remarkably little effort to unplug the unit and be on their way. It works be emitting a static correction if the dog gets too close. This tells the dog to return to the “safe area.” The unit emits a signal roughly 90 feet in diameter. This equates to just over half an acre. A person who wants to keep their dog safe yet allow them some freedom would do well with this system.

My experience with my pet safe wireless fence has been quite good. There were no wires to deal with, so it was easy to set up. All I needed was a place to plug in the transmitter that was near to where I wanted to keep my dog. Once I placed the receiver collar on my pet, the system was ready to work. I feel so much better about letting my dog roam around the perimeter of the house, knowing that he is safe and secured. Now I have few worries about him running out into traffic, or harming or frightening walkers, runners, or cyclists. This product is so portable that I have even taken it along when traveling, and I would recommend it to dog owners everywhere.

There are any number of options for adult dog training. You may have a well-behaved and well-trained dog and feel no need for any further dog training. But, if you have an intelligent and obedient dog you and your dog can have lot more fun and joy by going to other advanced training courses. He can participate in competitions along with you, go exploring, be a guide dog, and learn to do tricks and much more. Remember to not stress the dog too much and only go for this extra training if you think he enjoys doing this kind of stuff. If he loves the extra challenge he will readily learn the new things and have fun while doing it.

Early leash training of Labrador retriever dogs is very important. Don’t wait till they grow big. They grow very fast and large. You won’t be able to leash train them when they are grown fully. Labrador puppies are very excitable and they also tend to get distracted easily. Unless they are on a leash they are likely to wander off. Labradors are big and muscular dogs and also tend to put on weight fast. They need a limited amount of exercise every day. Don’t overexercise them as they can develop bone problems later on. Give them a balanced diet. They love to play and want a lot of attention.

A crate is an important part of German Shepherd potty training. Give your German Shepherd puppy a crate as soon as he comes home. He will need to be fed every 2 hours. Immediately take him out of the house let him do his business. This may take about 10 minutes. Immediately put him in the crate and give him a toy to play with. You will need to do this every 2 hours for the 3-4 days. In the next few days increase this time period by an hour. By the middle of second week increase the time by half hour. If he doesn’t finish urinating in 10 minutes you put him out give him another 10 minutes. If he still doesn’t do it then put him in the crate immediately. They don’t like to soil their crate and so will not urinate. But accidents can happen, as they still don’t have complete bladder control. Clean the crate and continue as before. Within a month or so they should be fully potty trained.

Potty training adult dogs need not be tough if a few basic rules are followed. Remember to take your dog out to comfortable and secluded spot every time you feed him. Let him stay there as long as he needs to empty his bowels. This may take longer initially as he explores and get to know the spot. Offer him praise and petting once he finishes his business and then take him in. Do this every time without fail. It needs commitment and consistency on your part. Leaving a dog fully fed dog at home while you rush off to work is a sure recipe for a major mess. No use blaming the poor dog for giving in to his natural urges.
