My brother is an avid coin collector. Since he has a huge collection, I usually do not know which coins he is on the hunt for, but he has been hinting that he is trying to find a Saint Gaudens Gold Coin. It is apparently a rare coin, and he has never seen one before, except in pictures. I have found a few that are up for auction, and I think that I may try to win one before his next birthday rolls around. It would really be a big surprise if he were to receive one of the rare coins as a present.
Our school recently took a trip to various museums in the area. It was very interesting, and I learned a lot of new things. One of the exhibits that really caught my attention was a money exhibit. It talked about how coins and paper money have evolved in our country over the years. They even had several rare coins on display, such as the Gold Double Eagle. It was so interesting seeing how our coins have changed. I think that I may want to study a little more about the history of money, and I am even considering starting up my own coin collection.
To finish my collection, I need to get the 2000 Silver Eagle. I have been collecting since I was 10. I picked up my dad’s collection, which makes this collection even more special. I was so happy knowing that I had every coin out there and I only needed one more for it to be complete.
