There was a period of time when popcorn ceilings were thought to be fashionable and the style to have for homes. However, over time fads come and go. Styles for interior decoration change, and popcorn ceilings are no longer so fashionable.

In fact, popcorn ceilings are difficult to clean because of their texture which traps dirt and dust over time. Before you go about removing popcorn ceiling from your home, you do want to check it is safe to do so. Why? Some popcorn ceilings use asbestos which is not healthy for the human body. So you can take a sample and send it for checks to make sure you are not living under a dangerous ceiling in your own home.

We just got a new Sodick Wire cut EDM and it does a great job. The wire threading feature works like a charm, though ti took a bit to get it tweaked in.

We have 4 operators who have learned the software and the machine in general. Hopefully it will run around the clock and make us a lot of good injection mold inserts, which is what we mostly do around here.

Sure is a welcome change from the 15 year old Charmilles and Makino. They are good machines, but just plain worn out, plus neither one threads wire very well on it’s own.

The ladder that leads to our attic broke recently. My husband said that it could not be repaired. I did not like having access to my attic while the ladder was broken, so I considered it emergency that I get one of those new working Bq Loft Ladders. I have been looking for a new one now, including places such as Cosco. Even though it is just a ladder to my loft, I wanted it to look nice. I am into decorating so even the finest details need to blend nicely. For that reason, I chose to get a light-colored wooden ladder.

Every June my husband and I exchange several gifts – there is Father’s Day, our birthdays and our anniversary. To break things up a bit, a few years ago we decided to exchange “traditional gifts” for our anniversary. This year’s theme is leather. It is a tricky one but I have been looking at Leather Messenger Bags For Men for my husband. He is not the most organized person and I think that something like that would be very helpful for him.
